Sautéd Mackerel Fillet with Spring Onion (Serves 2 to 3)
Ingredients
450g mackerel, cut into 2 or 3 slices
2 stalks spring onion, sectioned
2 tsp corn starch
Marinade
1 tsp salt
Sauce
1 tbsp Pat Chun Gourmet Dark Soy Sauce
½ tsp Pat Chun Chili Oil
½ tsp sugar
3 tbsp water
Preparation
1. Marinate mackerel fillet for 1 hour.
2. Coat both sides of mackerel fillet with corn starch and sauté until golden brown.
3. Pour in Sauce and add spring onion. Bring to the boil and simmer until sauce thickens. Serve.
