Soy Sauce Braised Beef Shin (Serving 4)
Ingredients
1 Beef shin approx. 400 grams
3 to 4 garlic cloves
4 slices of ginger
Sauce
½ cup Pat Chun Premium Soy Sauce Supreme
1 cup water
1 small piece orange peel
10 peppercorns
1 star anise
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
18 grams rock sugar
Preparation
- Cook the beef shin in boiling water for 3 minutes to remove blood. Pick up and drain the water.
- Bring all the ingredients and sauce to a boil in a deep pot. Put in the beef shin and simmer over medium-low heat until soft. Cook until the sauce is half dried.
- Let the cooked beef shin cool down or refrigerate before cutting into thin slices. This dish can be served cold or hot. Before serving, boil the sauce and add a dash of Pat Chun 100% Pure Sesame Oil.
