Pat Chun International Limited showcased our premier Thousand Autumns Spiced Rice Vinegar at the Supermarket Convention & Educational Exposition (also known as the FMI Show).

Organized by the Food Marketing Institute to tap into the affluent Midwest market, this is the largest food show in North America. It features over 1,500 exhibitors, and attracts 35,000 retailers, brokers, distributors and food professionals and 6,400 international visitors from 118 countries. Every year, the FMI Show is co-located with the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) Spring Fancy Food Show and the U.S. Food Export Showcase, sponsored by the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) and directly supported by the Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS).

SIAL 2002

SIAL was universally acclaimed as an outstanding session for its sheer size (close to 135,000 visitors) and international focus (50% of visitors were international; 5,240 corporate exhibitors from 98 countries). The event was also notable for the quality of leads generated, new products and major trends highlighted and its vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

Termed "the Global Food Marketplace", SIAL is a key event attended by professionals from the Distribution, Commerce, Trade, Catering & Food Services, and Food Industries. The exhibition also acts as a consumer trends barometer and observatory for international food innovations.

International Winter Fancy Food & Confection Show (NASFT)

The WFFS was one of the most important annual expositions for the gourmet/specialty food trade in the United States. Featuring more than 850 American exhibitors and 400 foreign exhibitors, the show attracted 25,000 qualified buyers from over 50 countries.

The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, Inc. (NASFT) has sponsored the International Fancy Food & Confection Shows, better known as the Fancy Food Shows, since 1955. Senior representatives and decision-makers are drawn from virtually every segment of the retail and food service industries - retailers, restaurateurs, brokers, wholesalers, importers and other distributors of gourmet, specialty and ethnic foods.

The Pat Chun booth featured the Thousand Autumns range of premium sauces including Chopped Ginger in Sweet Vinegar, Plum Sauce, Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce Supreme and Spiced Rice Vinegar. A chef was on hand to serve up juicy salmon and succulent flank steaks marinated with Pat Chun Sweetened Vinegar and Pat Chun Soy Sauce Supreme, then grilled to perfection.

In March 2003, Pat Chun International Limited attended FOODEX JAPAN 2003, the Asia Pacific Rim's largest food and beverage trade show. Organized by the Japan Management Association and other business associations, the show is endorsed by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and 39 other trade associations from Japan and around the world.

As one of the largest markets in the world, Japan is the subject of intense interest for industry professionals across the globe. Following only Anuga and SIAL in terms of overall scale, FOODEX JAPAN was the gateway to the Japanese and Asian markets. 2,515 companies from 78 countries and regions participated in this year's exhibition, which welcomed 98,920 industry visitors.
