Pat Chun received the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 quality management certification from BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality Inspection), an independent certification body endorsed by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service. A world leader in standards certification, BVQI is recognised by more than thirty national and international accreditation bodies to deliver ISO 9001 certification.
As a premier manufacturer of quality sauces, Pat Chun channels considerable resources towards research and development for all its products and processes. We continually improve our traditional brewing methods with the latest technologies to ensure quality and food safety.
HACCP
In February 2004, Pat Chun was awarded HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certification for food safety assurance under the Joint FAO/WHO (United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization) Food Standards Programme.
The HACCP systemˇ¦s principal objective is to protect the health of consumers and facilitate the trade of food. In the thirty years since its conception, the system has grown to become the universally recognised and accepted method for food safety assurance.
Superbrands Hong Kong Volume II
Pat Chun was awarded a coveted spot in the second volume of Superbrands Hong Kong, which was launched in January 2004. After a rigorous selection and evaluation process, the Superbrands Council determined that Pat Chun met the five criteria of market dominance, longevity, goodwill, customer loyalty and overall market acceptance.
Superbrands is an independent arbiter of branding established in London almost 10 years ago. The Superbrands Council of judges consists of local industry experts in the field of branding, marketing and advertising. With operations in twenty-five countries, its series of books features some of the greatest brands in the world.

June 2004: Pat Chun's Dumplings voted amongst the "Five Best Dumplings" in Hong Kong by popular local magazine, East Weekly.
June 2004: Pat Chun's Fragrant Rice Dumpling pronounced the "Dumpling You Must Eat" by popular local food and drink magazine, Eat and Travel Weekly.
January 2004: Pat Chun's famous Radish Cake named "Best Radish Cake" by popular local magazine, East Canteen.
June 2003: Pat Chun brand designated the "King of Soy Sauces" by popular local food and drink magazine, Eat and Travel Weekly.
2003 and 2002: Pat Chun's famous Radish Cake voted "Hong Kong's Best Radish Cake" by popular local food and drink magazine, Eat and Travel Weekly.
Other Achievements
Pat Chun is also an innovator in marketing and customer services.
In the 1950s, Pat Chun became the first grocery store in Hong Kong to provide a delivery service to customers using a converted Austin.
The company is a pioneer in marketing and promotions, harnessing new mediums like advertising on billboards, in cinemas and at festival processions in the 1950s.
